My Faith Journey
I grew up knowing about God, but it wasn’t until my young adult years that I truly developed a deep, personal relationship with Jesus. That shift changed everything for me.
Growing up in an unstable, hostile house with a mentally ill, addicted, suicidal mother, I can relate to secret aches and scars untold. By clinging to Jesus, I believed her future would be drastically different. Through prayer and persistence, I learned to elevate God’s word, fully embrace forgiveness, and hold onto hope.
I like to draw from our crazy family antics and my scattered prayer journals where God whispered in my ear. I pray that these clips and the new podcast GodlyNoise will usher in the sound of laughter, hope, and the promise of joy. My goal is to help you relieve your burdens, refocus your mind, and believe again. It’s time to write a new soundtrack of sanity and peace.
When I speak, I speak raw, honest, and from the heart. We are working on uploading pieces of talks I’ve given over the years, filled with emotion, vulnerability, and truth as I’ve experienced it. I appreciate your patience as we carefully sort through and share the moments that carry the most meaning.
A gentle disclaimer: What you’ll hear are my personal reflections—my own journey, emotions, and the ways I’ve felt God speak into my life. Your story may look completely different, and that’s okay. I’m not a pastor or a theologian, and I didn’t go to seminary. I’m simply someone with a heart to share what I’ve learned and felt along the way.
I encourage you to take time to nourish your own spiritual life. Open your heart and listen—really listen—for what God might be saying to you. You may be surprised by what you hear.
